Villa Grand Voile, the Marine Home of Christopher Coutanceau

Introduction
In La Rochelle, the 3-star chef Christopher Coutanceau has just opened, with his unfailing partner Nicolas Brossard, a charming residence, a haven of peace: the Villa Grand Voile.
In the heart of downtown La Rochelle, in a quiet, residential street, a new cocoon with an elegant décor is opening. The Villa Grand Voile, stamped Relais & Châteaux, is a hotel with eleven rooms and suites just a few steps from the Plage de la Concurrence and the old port.
This former shipowner's residence, dating from 1715, houses a courtyard with trees and a heated swimming pool, ideal for relaxing moments. The residence has been carefully and elegantly decorated in keeping with modern tastes, combining contemporary furniture, Art Deco pieces and noble materials, all in modern comfort.
This new address can also be enjoyed in a gastronomic way. For those who are a bit peckish or late arrivals, room service is available until 10 pm, with the possibility of tasting certain dishes from the Michelin-starred Christopher Coutanceau restaurant, such as the gourmet Breton lobster stew, in your room or by the pool. A few steps away from the chef's starred table and his marine bistro, La Yole de Chris, it is also very easy to taste the other dishes emblematic of the chef's eco-responsible cuisine.
In the morning, breakfast, entirely designed by Chef Christopher Coutanceau, offers a taste of fabulous products from local artisans, and breads and pastries made on site.
Finally, for a coffee, tea time or a cocktail, the Villa Grand Voile also has a bar with an à la carte menu of wines, spirits and even cigars selected by Nicolas Brossard.
