The Lavender fields of Haute-Provence
Introduction
In June and July, head for Haute Provence! Known for its powerful perfume as much as for its remarkable blue-violet color, lavender is emblematic of Provence. It must be said that during the flowering period, the fields of cultivation transfigure the landscapes of the region, making each valley a real postcard setting. But the real show is not only visual, you have to get as close as possible to the ears and use all your senses to enjoy it fully: your nose, of course, but also your ears! Bees love all the lavender and the muffled buzzing of their melliferous activity is also part of the picture.
