The Ayous Lakes in the Pyrénées

Introduction

A magnificent family hike for everyone, as long as you like walking! It lasts about 5 hours and will allow you to admire no less than 5 glacial lakes, all perched at an altitude of about 1,900 m, but also to contemplate at leisure the Pic du Midi d'Ossau.

You will cross vast plateaus where horses and sheep graze freely, a forest of beech and fir trees, as well as a rocky and lunar chaos. The highlight of the walk in good weather: the reflection of the Ossau in the waters of the Ayous lakes. Unforgettable!
